Overview

Hyna is a premium leather brand operating in both India and the United States, specializing in handcrafted cowhide and hand-tooled leather bags. The brand had already invested over ₹15L+ in Meta Ads, Google Ads, and TikTok Ads but struggled with inconsistent sales and rising acquisition costs.

The challenge was clear — traffic was coming in, but the Shopify store was not converting at a level required for high-ticket products in the US market.

Brand Philosophy

At Hyna, craftsmanship is not mass-produced — it is preserved. Each bag is hand-tooled using time-honored techniques, inspired by the raw, independent spirit of the American West.

The brand is built for modern women — dreamers, builders, and leaders — who value authenticity, durability, and understated luxury. Every product reflects heritage craftsmanship combined with functional design.

Problem

Despite strong product quality and aggressive ad spend, the store failed to convert due to:

  • Poor homepage structure with no clear buying journey

  • Weak trust signals for premium US customers

  • Lack of product clarity for high-ticket decision-making

  • No best-seller or category prioritization

  • Generic design not aligned with western leather brands

  • Missing backend systems (email flows, recovery, automation)

Result:
High traffic → low trust → low conversion → unstable revenue and cash burn

Strategy

We focused on Shopify CRO + US market positioning + backend automation.

The goal was not just redesign — but to build a conversion-ready ecommerce system that supports scaling.

Shopify Store Optimization

  • Full homepage restructuring with clear product hierarchy

  • Category segmentation (cowhide bags, hand-tooled leather, shoulder, crossbody)

  • Best-seller and high-demand product highlighting

  • “View Shop” and “Shop Now” CTA optimization

  • Mobile-first design for US audience

Conversion-Focused UX & Layout

  • Premium minimal layout aligned with US western brands

  • Clean navigation and frictionless browsing experience

  • Product page redesign for high-ticket clarity

  • Structured content hierarchy for better decision-making

Advanced Product Experience

  • Integrated product dimension visualization with real-world scale

  • iPhone and MacBook size comparison for accurate perception

  • Improved product understanding for US buyers

  • Reduced hesitation in high-ticket purchases

Trust & Credibility Enhancement

  • Shipping clarity (US delivery, DHL, returns policy)

  • Highlighted craftsmanship (handmade, genuine leather)

  • Social proof integration (reviews, UGC content)

  • Footer, policies, and brand structure aligned with US standards

Feature & Functionality Integration

  • Store locator integration for US presence credibility

  • Collection alignment based on buying behavior

  • Instagram integration for social validation

  • Structured footer and navigation like premium US brands

Automation & Backend Systems

  • Klaviyo email automation (welcome, abandoned cart, recovery flows)

  • Discount logic and popup optimization

  • Checkout recovery systems

  • Conversion tracking setup for scaling ads

Results

  • Stronger trust perception among US customers

  • Improved product clarity and buying confidence

  • Reduced drop-offs across homepage and product pages

  • More stable and consistent conversion behavior

  • Built a scalable foundation for paid ads and growth

Conclusion

Hyna’s issue was not traffic — it was conversion inefficiency inside the Shopify store.

By fixing the store experience, improving trust, and implementing automation systems, we transformed it into a high-converting ecommerce platform ready for US scaling.

This case reinforces a key principle: Paid ads don’t fix weak stores. Conversion-first Shopify development drives profitable growth.
